5 emigrants returning from Umrah die in Riyadh road accident

Riyadh: On Saturday, five Bangladeshi members of the same family were on their way to Hafar Al-Batin located in the Eastern Province. At that spot, they met a road accident and died on the spot.
The labor counselor of Bangladesh Embassy in Riyadh Dr. Sarwar Alam told the Arab News on Sunday that this unfortunate accident took place in Umm Al-Jamajem which is in the region of Riyadh. When the whole family was returning after their one week stay in Makkah and Madinah, after performing Umrah, they faced that accident and unluckily none of them survived that accident. It occurred at around 4:45 a.m. on Saturday.
The dead family members included Abdul Aziz, his son Arafat who was 12 years old, his daughter Ariya who was 4 year old, his mother in Law Zobeda Khanam and the driver Masud.
Dr. Sarwar Alam said that the driver died on the spot but the mother in Law died at Artawiyah Hospital in Al-Artawiyah town which is not far away from the site of the accident.
The only person who survived the accident was the wife of Abdul Aziz who is now having a treatment in the hospital in Riyadh.
Dr. Sarwar Alam said the embassy has told a team to visit Hafr Al-Batin to look after the comfort of victims. The main purpose was to look after the condition of the people who are closely related to the dead people and help them in their time of need.
The family is from Feni district in Chittagong, Bangladesh.
